Tournaments for Your Team

At the Fargo Basketball Academy, we know that real game experience is just as important to a player's development as consistent practice. We want to help our players to have as many opportunities to improve their skills as possible, so we've compiled a list of tournaments to provide coaches with an easy reference. We are not the contact for any of these tournaments, but we are continuously updating the list. AUGUST 2026

  • AUGUST 16: DALE COX MEMORIAL 3v3 TOURNAMENT [3-ON-3]- Hawley, MN. Grades 2-8 Boys and Grades 2-8 Girls. Registration Fee: $100. (An invoice will be sent out closer to the event.) 3 Game Guarantee. Registration Deadline: Friday, August 7. Register online here. Tournament Contact: Andy Cox by phone or email. Additional Information: Games played at Hawley Elementary School in Hawley, MN. 5 players max allowed per team. Email if you don't see your age group on registration form to be added to the waiting list. 
  • AUGUST 18: TUESDAY 2V2 TOURNAMENTS [2-ON-2]- Fargo, ND. Grades 3-6 Boys. Registration Fee: $50. 4 Game Guarantee. Register online here. Tournament Contact: Katie Johnson by phone or email. Additional Information: Games played at Fargo Basketball Academy and Shoot 360 Fargo. Athletes active the entire 90-minute block. Open to both members and non-members. Teams of 2-3 players. Awards given to division champions. Shoot360 instructors will serve as team coaches and game facilitators.
  • AUGUST 21-22: 2ND ANNUAL POTATO DAYS MASH UP [3-ON-3]- Barnesville, MN. Grades 3-8 Boys and Grades 3-8 Girls. Registration Fee: $100. 3 Game Guarantee. Registration Deadline: Monday, August 10. Register online here. Tournament Contact: Jesse Buccholz by phone or email. Additional Information: Games played at outdoor courts at in Barnesville, MN (Blue Eagle Lake courts, Del Acres park courts, Barnesville Elementary School courts).  Minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 players pre team.  Paid referees to provide consistent and reliable officiating. Concessions available. T-shirt included for each player registered.

SEPTEMBER 2026

  • SEPTEMBER 9-30: SEPTEMBER CONTINUOUS 3v3v3 LEAGUE [3-ON-3-ON-3]- Fargo, ND. Grades 3-6 Boys and Grades 6-7 Girls. Registration Fee: $150. 6 Game Guarantee. Register online here. Tournament Contact: Katie Johnson by phone or email. Additional Information: Games played at Fargo Basketball Academy. Offered weekday evenings (Boys on Mondays and Girls on Wednesdays). Multi-week league. Within the hour, you'll play two 24-minute games of continuous 3v3v3. In this format, up to five teams will compete on one court. It is fast paced with constant transitions that make for non-stop action, decision making and skill development through game play! Max of 5 players on the roster. Must register as a full team. Awards for league champions. 
  • SEPTEMBER 12: FALL 2V2 TOURNAMENT [2-ON-2]- Fargo, ND. Grades 3-6 Boys and Grades 5-6 Girls. Registration Fee: $50. 4 Game Guarantee. Register online here. Tournament Contact: Katie Johnson by phone or email. Additional Information: Games played at Fargo Basketball Academy and Shoot 360 Fargo. Athletes active the entire 90-minute block.   • SEPTEMBER 19: 4TH GRADE GIRLS BASKETBALL 3ON3 TOURNAMENT [3-ON-3]- Wahpeton, ND. Grades 4 Girls. Registration Fee: $100. 3 Game Guarantee. Tournament Contact: Michael Herrick by phone or email. Additional Information: Games played at Circle of Nations School in Wahpeton. First game will start at 9:30 AM and the last game will start at 11:30 AM. Email to register. Paid referees. All games played on wood floors. Concessions offered. Trophies for 1st place.
  • SEPTEMBER 19: JIM HUGHES 3-ON-3 BOYS/GIRLS BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT [3-ON-3]- Fargo, ND. Grades 3-12 Boys and Grades 3-12 Girls. Registration Fee: $125. 4 Game Guarantee. Registration Deadline: Tuesday, September 15, 2026.  Email for registration form. Tournament Contact: Nick Kollross by email or phone. Additional Information: Games played at Shanley High School. Concessions available. All games played on wood floors. T-shirts given for 1st place.
  • SEPTEMBER 26: RISE UP 3v3 GATORADE CHALLENGE PRESENTED BY PEPSI [3-ON-3]- Fargo, ND. Grades 4-8 Boys and Grades 4-8 Girls. Registration Fee: $125. 3 Game Guarantee. Registration Deadline: Monday, September 21. Register online here. Tournament Contact: John Bright by phone or email. Additional Information: Games played at Empire Sports Complex. Pepsi team will have hydration station to sample new Gatorade flavors.

OCTOBER 2026

  • OCTOBER 5-28: OCTOBER CONTINUOUS 3v3v3 LEAGUE [3-ON-3-ON-3]- Fargo, ND. Grades 5-8 Boys and Grades 6-7 Girls. Registration Fee: $200. 8 Game Guarantee. Register online here.   • OCTOBER 18-NOVEMBER 1: RISE UP GIRLS FALL LEAGUE [5-ON-5]- Fargo, ND. Grades 8-12 Girls. Registration Fee: $180. 3 Game Guarantee. Registration Deadline: Sunday, October 11. Register online here. Tournament Contact: John Bright by phone or email. Additional Information: Games played at Empire Sports Complex or Liberty Middle School. Evaluation and Draft Day on October 11.  Games on October 18, October 25 and November 1. Individual registration. C Squad, JV and Varsity Divisions.  No practices. Certified officials. 
  • OCTOBER 24: HALLOWEEN 2V2 TOURNAMENT [2-ON-2]- Fargo, ND. Grades 3-6 Boys and Grades 3-4 Girls. Registration Fee: $50. 4 Game Guarantee. Register online here. Costumes encouraged!  A separate award will be given out for best team costume. 

NOVEMBER 2026

  • NOVEMBER 7-8: RISE UP 3RD ANNUAL AUTUMN TIP OFF [5-ON-5]- Fargo, ND. Grades 4-8 Boys and Grades 4-8 Girls. Registration Fee: $250. 3 Game Guarantee. Registration Deadline: Monday, November 2. Register online here. Tournament Contact: John Bright by phone or email. Additional Information: Games played at Empire Sports Complex and Liberty Middle School. Tournament format will vary based on number of teams with the goal to be an 8-team bracket whenever possible. If there are not enough registrations, divisions may be combined. Coaches will be contacted first.  NDHSAA rules, except no full court press for Grades 4-6. Concessions and tournament merchandise available.  No ATM on site.  Purchases can be made with cash, Venmo or credit/debit card. 
  • NOVEMBER 14: SANFORD SPORTS TURKEY TAKEOVER [5-ON-5]- Fargo, ND. Grades 4-8 Boys and Grades 4-6 Girls. Registration Fee: $225. 3 Game Guarantee. Registration Deadline: Saturday, November 7. Register online here. Tournament Contact: Keaton Kvilvang by phone or email. Additional Information: Games played at Fargo Parks Sports Center. 8 full-length hardwood courts. 2 referees per court. Division winners will receive championship t-shirts. 
  • NOVEMBER 15: RISE UP FALL BALL CLASSIC [5-ON-5]- Fargo, ND. Grades 5-8 Boys and Grades 5-7 Girls. Registration Fee: $200. 3 Game Guarantee.
