Tournaments for Your Team

At the Fargo Basketball Academy, we know that real game experience is just as important to a player's development as consistent practice. We want to help our players to have as many opportunities to improve their skills as possible, so we've compiled a list of tournaments to provide coaches with an easy reference. We are not the contact for any of these tournaments, but we are continuously updating the list. JUNE 2026

• JUNE 16: TUESDAY 2V2 TOURNAMENTS [2-ON-2]- Fargo, ND. Grades 3-6 Girls. Registration Fee: $50. 4 Game Guarantee. Register online here. Tournament Contact: Katie Johnson by phone or email. Additional Information: Games played at Fargo Basketball Academy and Shoot 360 Fargo. Athletes active the entire 90-minute block. Open to both members and non-members. Teams of 2-3 players. Awards given to division champions. Shoot360 instructors will serve as team coaches and game facilitators.
• JUNE 26: ABW SUMMER SHOWDOWN [3-ON-3]- Ada, MN. Grades 4-12 Boys and Grades 4-12 Girls. Registration Fee: $100. 3 Game Guarantee. Register online here. Tournament Contact: Jeremy Peterson by phone or email. Additional Information: Games will be played at Ada-Borup-West Schools at 6-4 Thorpe Ave, Ada, MN, 56510. Max 5 players per team. All courts are officiated. Concessions available all day. 1st and 2nd place medals for all divisions except JV and Varsity (1st place medals only).

JULY 2026

• JULY 6-29: JULY CONTINUOUS 3v3v3 LEAGUE [3-ON-3-ON-3]- Grand Forks, ND. Grades 4-8 Boys and Grades 6-7 Girls. Registration Fee: $207. 8 Game Guarantee. Register online here. Tournament Contact: Katie Johnson by phone or email. Additional Information: Games played at Shoot 360 Grand Forks. Offered summer weekday evenings (Mondays or Wednesdays). Within the hour, you'll play two 24-minute games of continuous 3v3v3. In this format, up to five teams will compete on one court. It is fast paced with constant transitions that make for non-stop action, decision making and skill development through game play! Max of 5 players on the roster. Must register as a full team. Awards for league champions. 
• JULY 6-AUGUST 5: K-3 SUMMER LEAGUE [3-ON-3]- Fargo, ND. Grades 2 Boys and Grades 2-3 Girls. Registration Fee: $175 (non-members) or $100 (members).  Register online here. Tournament Contact: Katie Johnson by phone or email. Additional Information: Games and practices played at Fargo Basketball Academy. Register as an individual player. 5-week league. Athletes attend a 1-hour practice on Mondays that focuses on skill development.  On Wednesdays, athletes play competitive 3v3 games.  Teams will vary each week. Legue uses a lowered hoop and youth size basketball. 
• JULY 7-30: JULY CONTINUOUS 3v3v3 LEAGUE [3-ON-3-ON-3]- Fargo, ND. Grades 3-8 Boys and Grades 4-7 Girls. Registration Fee: $200. 8 Game Guarantee. Register online here. Athletes attend a 1-hour practice on Tuesdays that focuses on skill development.  On Thursdays, athletes play competitive 3v3 games.  Teams will vary each week. Grade 2 league uses lowered hoop and youth-sized basketball. Grade 3 league uses full height hoop and women's basketball. 
• JULY 10: FALCON YOUTH BASKETBALL 3v3 [3-ON-3]- Moorhead, MN. Grades 2-7 Boys and Grades 2-7 Girls. Registration Fee: $100. 3 Game Guarantee. Games played between 9:00AM-4:00PM. Concessions offered. Medals awarded for 1st place.

Additional Information: Games played at Detroit Lakes High School.  Last year had 185 teams. Wood floors. Full concessions offered. Certified officials. Efficient scheduling.  Each day is its own tournament. 
• JULY 18: BATTLE BY THE BEACH [3-ON-3]- Detroit Lakes, MN. Grades 3-12 Boys and Grades 3-12 Girls and Adult Division. Registration Fee: $100. 4 Game Guarantee. Additional Information: Games played at Detroit Lakes High School.  Last year had 185 teams. Wood floors. Full concessions offered. Certified officials. Efficient scheduling. Each day is its own tournament. New this year is a 3-point contest between waves of games. Winner of each division gets a champion beach towel. Details in registration link. 
• JULY 18: RISE UP SUMMER CLASH [5-ON-5]- Fargo, ND. Grades 4-8 Boys and Grades 4-8 Girls. Registration Fee: $275. 3 Game Guarantee. Register for current grade. Teams may register now to reserve a spot. • AUGUST 7: KINDRED HOOPS SUMMER SPLASH 3v3 [3-ON-3]- Kindred, ND. Grades 3-8 Boys and Grades 3-8 Girls. Registration Fee: $120. 3 Game Guarantee. Additional Information: Games played at Kindred Middle and High School (255 Dakota Street, Kindred, ND 58051). 1st place teams receive champion t-shirts.  All championship games played at Kindred High School gym. Concessions will be offered. Food trucks available at the Kindred Park all day. 1st place teams can celebrate with a champion pool jump following the tournament win. Outdoor park open for players and families. The outdoor courts will have shooting contests. Free swim at the Kindred pool. Be sure to pack a swimsuit/trunks.

• AUGUST 21-22: 2ND ANNUAL POTATO DAYS MASH UP [3-ON-3]- Barnesville, MN. Grades 3-8 Boys and Grades 3-8 Girls. Registration Fee: $100. 3 Game Guarantee. Registration Deadline: Monday, August 10. Register online here. Tournament Contact: Jesse Buccholz by phone or email. Additional Information: Games played at outdoor courts at in Barnesville, MN (Blue Eagle Lake courts, Del Acres park courts, Barnesville Elementary School courts).  Minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 players pre team.  Paid referees to provide consistent and reliable officiating. Concessions available. T-shirt included for each player registered.

SEPTEMBER 2026

• SEPTEMBER 19: 4TH GRADE GIRLS BASKETBALL 3ON3 TOURNAMENT [3-ON-3]- Wahpeton, ND. Grades 4 Girls. Registration Fee: $100. 3 Game Guarantee. Tournament Contact: Michael Herrick by phone or email. Additional Information: Games played at Circle of Nations School in Wahpeton. First game will start at 9:30 AM and the last game will start at 11:30 AM. Email to register. Paid referees. All games played on wood floors. Concessions offered. Trophies for 1st place.
