Tournaments for Your Team

At the Fargo Basketball Academy, we know that real game experience is just as important to a player's development as consistent practice. We want to help our players to have as many opportunities to improve their skills as possible, so we've compiled a list of tournaments to provide coaches with an easy reference. We are not the contact for any of these tournaments, but we are continuously updating the list.  APRIL 2026

• APRIL 6, 13, 20, 27: APRIL CONTINUOUS 3v3v3 LEAGUE [3-ON-3-ON-3]- Fargo, ND. Grades 5-6 Boys. Registration Fee: $200. 8 Game Guarantee. Register online here. Tournament Contact: Katie Johnson by phone or email. Additional Information: Games played at Fargo Basketball Academy. Within the hour, you'll play two 24-minute games of continuous 3v3v3. In this format, up to five teams will compete on one court. It is fast paced with constant transitions that make for non-stop action, decision making and skill development through game play! Max of 5 players on the roster. Must register as a full team. Awards for league champions. 
• APRIL 18-19: IMPACT SPRING JAM [5-ON-5]- Sioux Falls, SD. Grades 4-12 Boys. Registration Fee: $275. 4 Game Guarantee. Registration Deadline: Friday, April 10. Register online here. Tournament Contact: Chad Yde by phone or email. Additional Information: Games played at Impact Sport Center. 
• APRIL 19: SPRING SHOWDOWN 3v3 tOURNAMENT [3-ON-3]- Hawley, MN. Grades 2-8 Boys and Grades 2-8 Girls. Registration Fee: $100. An invoice will be closer to the event. 3 Game Guarantee. Registration Deadline: Friday, April 10, 2026. Register online here. Tournament Contact: Andy Cox by phone or email. Additional Information: Games played at Hawley Elementary School. A and B divisions, if possible. 5 players max allowed per team. If your grade level is not on the list, that division is full. Send an email to be put on the waitlist. 
• APRIL 25: RISE UP 3v3 BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT FUNDRAISER [3-ON-3]- Fargo, ND. Grades 3-7 Boys and Grades 4-7 Girls. Registration Fee: $125. 3 Game Guarantee. Register online here. Tournament Contact: John Bright by phone or email. Additional Information: Games played at Liberty Middle School. Divisions may be combined based on registration numbers. 
• APRIL 26: VCSU 3 on 3 SPRING TOURNAMENT [3-ON-3]- Valley City, ND. Grades 3-12 Boys and Grades 3-12 Girls. Registration Fee: $100. 3 Game Guarantee. Osmon Fieldhouse ("The Bubble") on VCSU Campus. 

MAY 2026

• MAY 22-24: THE FARGO HARDWOOD INVITATION [5-ON-5]- Fargo, ND. Grades 4-8 Girls and Grades 4-8 Boys. Registration Fee: $350. 3 Game Guarantee. Registration Deadline: Friday, May 13, 2026. Register online here. Tournament Contact: John Bright by phone or email. Additional Information: Games played at Empire Sports Complex, Liberty Middle School and additional Fargo-area facilities. Teams will play Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Tournament format (pool play, bracket play or pool-to-bracket play) will be determined based on the the number of teams registered in each division. 

JUNE 2026

• JUNE 5: SHADA [3-ON-3]- Pelican Rapids, MN. Grades 3-6 Boys and Grades 3-6 Girls. Registration Fee: $76. 3 Game Guarantee. Registration Deadline: Friday, May 15, 2026. Register online here. Tournament Contact: Doug Bruggeman by phone or email. Additional Information: Games played at Pelican Rapids High School and Elementary. One-day tournament. 
• JUNE 6: SHADA [3-ON-3]- Pelican Rapids, MN. Grades 7-12 Girls and Post High School Women. Registration Fee: $96. 3 Game Guarantee. Registration Deadline: Friday, May 15, 2026. Register online here. • JUNE 6-7: SHADA [3-ON-3]- Pelican Rapids, MN. Grades 7-12 Boys and Post High School Men. Registration Fee: $96. 3 Game Guarantee. Registration Deadline: Friday, May 15, 2026. Register online here. • JUNE 13-14: THE 'JESSE' MEMORIAL BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT [5-ON-5]- Fargo, ND. Grades 6-12 Girls. Registration Fee: $380. 4 Game Guarantee. JULY 2026

• JULY 10: FALCON YOUTH BASKETBALL 3v3 [3-ON-3]- Moorhead, MN. Grades 2-7 Boys and Grades 2-7 Girls. Registration Fee: $100. 3 Game Guarantee. Games played between 9:00AM-4:00PM. Concessions offered. Medals awarded for 1st place. 
• JULY 17: BATTLE BY THE BEACH [3-ON-3]- Detroit Lakes, MN. Grades 3-12 Boys and Grades 3-12 Girls. Registration Fee: $100. 4 Game Guarantee. Registration Deadline: Tuesday, July 7, 2026. Register online here. Tournament Contact: Keith Eckhoff by phone or email. Additional Information: Games played at Detroit Lakes High School.  Last year had 185 teams. Wood floors. Full concessions offered. Certified officials. Efficient scheduling.  Each day is its own tournament.
