This clinic is designed to give players the opportunity to develop their all-around game. We break down each specific skill so that the players properly progress as a player. The areas of focus include ball handling, passing, defensive skills, and shooting. There is an emphasis on solid fundamentals for each part of the game so players can be better prepared on the court. Through thoughtful and interactive drills, instruction and games, athletes will have fun while learning. The fundamentalist clinic will also include opportunities for game play to put these skills into action.

Available for Grades 4-6 Boys, Grades 4-8 Girls and Grade 7-9 Boys. 

Open to players that have an advanced level of basketball training and skill.

This 1-day clinic is for the player desiring to enhance ball handling and combination moves. This clinic will specifically focus on off-the-dribble shot selections. The goal is to progress players towards in-game decisions regarding what dribbling combinations can be used to create offensive space, as well as learning the fundamentals of a quick first step and different ways to beat a defender 1:1. In addition, players will receive purposeful, ball handling instruction that can be incorporated in their off-season workouts.

Available for Grades 7-9 Boys

Open to players that have played at the competitive level. Players enrolling in this clinic should excel at dribbling with both hands and have proper shooting fundamentals/form.

This clinic is for the player wanting to diversify their scoring options. This clinic will give insight on catch-and-shoot scenarios, shots off-the-dribble, and finishing around the rim. This clinic will teach players how to read the defense to make decisions that influence offensive options. In addition, players will practice a variety of combination moves that create offensive space away from their defender.

Available for Grades K-1 (must be age 5) 

Open to various levels of players.

In this level, the basketball hoops will be lowered to 8 feet and players will use a smaller basketball to allow players to learn and maintain proper shooting form while building confidence at an early age. This level is geared toward our youngest players with little to no experience. We will introduce the basic lines on the court as well as simple basketball rules such as traveling, double dribble, and fouls in an age-appropriate way. The curriculum will focus on ball handling (learning to get comfortable with the ball), passing and catching techniques, jump stops and pivots, and basic defensive stance. They will also work on the footwork needed for a dominant-hand lay-up. Most importantly, players will begin developing proper shooting mechanics to build strong habits from the start. Games such as dribble limbo and shooting relays will be played to keep the class fun and engaging as we gradually build toward playing in a real game situation during the final week.

Available for Grades 2-3

Open to various levels of players.

The basketball hoops will be lowered to 9 feet for this level to allow for players to learn and maintain proper shooting form. We will introduce the basic lines on the court as well as basic basketball rules such as traveling, double dribble, and fouls. The curriculum will focus on ball handling (learning to get comfortable with the ball), passing and catching techniques, jump stops and pivots, and basic defensive stance. They’ll work on the footwork needed for a dominant-hand lay-up. Most importantly, players will develop proper shooting form to set them up with good habits from a young age. Games such as dribble tag or basketball relays will be played to make the class fun while we build towards playing in a real game situation.

Available for Grades 4-6

Geared towards players in Grades 4-6 with limited game experience in addition to younger players that have advanced through our program and have been identified by coaches as a player ready to play on a 10-foot hoop.  This session is designed to help players solidify proper shooting mechanics.  In addition, they will continue work on both a dominant and weak hand layup.  When we do the layup maze, we encourage them to shoot with the right hand on the right side of the basket and the left hand on the left side of the basket. The curriculum will focus on stationary dribbling skills, change of direction and combination dribble moves, strong and weak handed one-foot lay-ups, passing on the move, zig-zag defensive slides and spot up shooting.

Each month we will highlight and offer skill sessions representing a different pathway.  (Anklebreaker, Craftsman, Playmaker, Scoring Machine and Sharpshooter.) Within the pathway area of focus, advanced combination drills will be executed at game speed. This may include decision-based drills and work under pressure for live ball reads.

Geared toward players with solid fundamentals looking to improve before middle and high school season, we offer skill sessions that emphasize a specific area of development through our pathway series. Each month we will highlight and offer skill sessions representing a different pathway.  (Anklebreaker, Craftsman, Playmaker, Scoring Machine and Sharpshooter.) Within the pathway area of focus, advanced combination drills will be executed at game speed. This may include decision-based drills and work under pressure for live ball reads.

This basketball clinic is designed to help players develop a strong understanding of the pick and roll. The clinic will focus on fundamentals such as screen angles, timing, spacing, ball-handling, passing options, and finishing at the rim. Through a combination of skill breakdowns, guided drills, and live game situations, players will gain confidence in executing the pick and roll both as the ball handler and the screener. Emphasis will also be placed on communication, teamwork, and recognizing defensive coverages to create scoring opportunities for themselves and their teammates. This clinic is ideal for players who want to improve their basketball IQ, offensive efficiency, and ability to impact the game within a team system.

Open to players that have a moderate to advanced level of basketball training and skill.

This clinic is for the player desiring to build on their foundational shooting fundamentals as well as learning new skills in various shooting situations. In this clinic, the focus area will be on scoring in a variety of situations. Athletes in this class will develop moves to become a complete scorer to be able to get a bucket from anywhere on the floor in a variety of ways.

Open to players that have a moderate to advanced level of basketball training and skill.

This clinic is for the player desiring to build on their foundational shooting fundamentals as well as learning new skills in various shooting situations. In this clinic, we will focus on shooting form, footwork, catch and shoot fundamentals, and attacking off the dribble. In addition, players will receive insight in front court defense and reading defense to create space and put themselves in a position to become open.

Available for Grades 5-6 Boys, 5-8 Girls, 7-8 Boys

This high-energy 3v3 skills session blends teaching and competition to help players grow their basketball IQ and confidence. This clinic will focus on essential 3v3 team concepts like spacing, pick-and-roll, give-and-go, help defense, and off-ball movement.  That instruction is then followed by live competitive 3v3 gameplay where athletes immediately apply what they’ve learned.

This monthly program builds decision-making, teamwork, and game instincts in an environment that mirrors real game action.  Small grade bands serve for more competitive game play.
